WHAT WE DO

Empowering youth at-risk through fitness and mentorship—driving personal growth, stronger communities, and reducing the chances of reoffending.

PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES.

Confit Pathways offers a range of programs and initiatives aimed at providing fitness training, mentorship, and support to incarcerated and at-risk youth. Our programs are designed to empower these individuals to build a better future for themselves.

Youth Justice Centres

Our main programs focus on promoting physical and mental well-being among incarcerated young people. Through structured fitness and mentoring activities, we aim to instil discipline, confidence, a sense of achievement, and readiness for the future.

We run these programs every school semester over 8 weeks in NSW:

  • Reiby Youth Justice Centre

  • Frank Baxter Youth Justice Centre

  • Cobham Youth Justice Centre

Regional

We take a trip every school holiday to visit NSW regional centres to run intensive, in-person programs. We run programs across every Youth Justice Centre in NSW and ACT.

We run these programs every school holidays in NSW and ACT:

  • Riverina Youth Justice Centre, Wagga Wagga

  • Orana Youth Justice Centre, Dubbo

  • Bimberi Youth Justice Centre, ACT

  • Acmena Youth Justice Centre, Grafton

  • Melbourne Youth Justice Centre, VIC

Digital Hub

Our new program is designed to actively engage youth in regional justice centres, fostering regular connections similar to our existing regular Youth Justice Centre programs. By utilising digital platforms, we connect with them more frequently, can support their fitness and goals development and promote positive outcomes.

Scholarships

Confit Pathways partners with UNSW to offer study placements to young people who are in pursuit of higher education.

The UNSW Gateway Admission Pathway (GAP) gives students from low socio-economic backgrounds, Gateway schools, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities a fairer shot at getting into university. Through GAP, eligible students can receive early or conditional offers to study at UNSW, often with lower ATAR requirements.

Key Note Speaking

Confit Pathways advocates for the rights and needs of incarcerated and at-risk young people, working to eliminate barriers to their successful reintegration into society. We provide ongoing support to help them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Our CEO Joe is regularly promoting and advocating for change at events across the globe.

Advocacy

By backing our work with real results—and employing mentors with lived experience—we challenge perceptions, shift narratives, and earn the trust of communities and decision-makers alike.

Our programs prove what’s possible when young people are given the chance to thrive. And through every success story, we’re not just changing lives—we’re shaping systems, inspiring policy, and creating a future where no one is left behind.
